Earlier this summer, I advocated for a local family. They’d been stonewalled repeatedly by their local public school district and got my name from a FB group.
We had a five hour IEP meeting where I was able to help the family get nearly everything that they wanted for their child’s new IEP, and then a few things. (I am not always this successful; wish that I were.)
So one of the parents set up a meeting for me to meet with some other families tonight. I’m posting the handout I made to share with those families HERE so that it can be shared and hopefully be useful to others as well.
