One of my colleagues in the education department here at Calvin, Debra Buursma, teaches a graduate course on Developing Inclusive Schools. Two years ago, her class walked through the manuscript for my Disability and Inclusive Communities as I was making final revisions.
Last week, I recorded a 30 minute conversation with her to use in that course this fall, since my book is one of the assigned texts. I’m sharing a copy of that discussion here in case it’d be of interest to any of you.
One of the things I appreciate about being here at Calvin is the opportunity to collaborate with folks in other departments in this way.
